The Vision

Inspire You University

For as long as I can remember, I’ve operated off of an “I’ll move when I’m moved” mentality. What that means is, I will not be controlled or held captive to doing things just because someone says I should or because everyone else is doing it. I don’t do anything unless I’m inspired. Gradually, as I got older, being inspired became less and less of a regular thing, so much so that I had to start FINDING inspiration. Whether that came in the form of inspirational quotes, searching tirelessly for new dope music, watching interviews or reading books… I had to find something to move me. Once I started finding things that moved me, I shared them, and the feeling I got from that inspired everything that “Inspire You University” is and will become. I love giving good energy to people who have that same need that I have for inspiration and information. “Won’t sell ’em no dreams, but the inspiration is free” is one of my favorite lines by Kanye and the inspiration will be free here. Feel free to be inspired and if you’re inspired enough to purchase some of the products we have, that’s an added bonus!

The Mascot

The Mascot represents strength! The Mascot represents education. The Mascot represents prestige. The Mascot represents art. Art is for the interpreter the minute the illustrator gives it to the world. The investment in Education, both traditional and experimental, is very dear to me. This “University” is for us to learn about what inspires us!

Don’t Complain, Adjust

“Don’t Complain, Adjust” came to me as inspiration partly from reading the 48 laws of power. The 40th law is “Despise the Free Lunch”. What I always took from that is no matter the circumstances or shortcomings, you can work your way out of any situation with the right mentality. Not the mentality of simply taking what’s given or feeling like you could only get as far as your parents or peers. Every manifestation of success starts with your thought process. Success is not supposed to be easy nor is it supposed to be given; It has to be earned. If you look at problems or challenges as a chance to make adjustments vs. a chance to complain, that’s half the battle.

It’s more than a quote, it’s the answer!
